Altered Books

Altered Books are a fun and enjoyable way to create new books and journal from old books.  By removing pages and painting layouts, unique creations may be made from books, which currently lay on the shelves collecting dust.  Why not recreate these beauties into something distinctive and personal to their owners: a journal about you! Better than a scrapbook, an altered book becomes a one of a kind creation that tells a new story.  The tutorials in this section of the workshop are designed to teach the basics of altered books, as well as tips and techniques that will make your altered book one of a kind.
